David is a graduate of the cinematography department at FAMU. In his work the main focus is on narrative film, which was selected at the Cannes Film Festival (One Hundred and Twenty-Eight Thousand, directed by Ondřej Erban) and won an award at the Czech Lion Awards for best student film and Prague Short Films (Sugar and Salt, directed by Adam Martinec) in 2018. 

David has previously worked on numerous short films, commercials and music videos. At the intersection of narrative film and commercial, the Post Bellum project won an Epica Award in 2019. His work is influenced by skate and street background, which slightly permeates into artistic creation.
