David is a graduate of the cinematography department at FAMU. In his work, he focuses mainly on narrative films – his short film “One Hundred and Twenty-Eight Thousand” (dir. Ondřej Erban) was selected for the Cinéfondation competition at Cannes film festival and also won the Best Student film award at Czech Lions national film awards. In 2022, his first feature “Grand Prix (dir. Jan Prušinovský) was released and he also collaborated on this first TV series – “Král Šumavy (King of Šumava Mountains)” directed by David Ondříček for Voyo platform. David’s portfolio includes over a hundred commercials and music videos. His work is often influenced by skate and street culture.
